Poker enthusiasts could not believe that this part-time professional poker player was able to defeat approximately 8,800 professional poker players. Of course, it was one of the luckiest days of Michael Binger, having won a total of US$4,100,000.

Born in Delray Beach, Florida on December 20, 1976, poker fans have probably seen this professional poker player in several World Poker Tour events too. Michael Binger was the sixteenth-placer at the Doyle Brunson North American Poker Classic event conducted by the World Poker Tour. He won US$67,655 in the said event. Poker enthusiasts probably saw him play at the Pokerstars.com Caribbean Adventure event conducted by the World Poker Tour.

In 2007, Michael Binger participated in World Series of Poker events. With such participation, this professional poker was able to prove to his fans and to his fellow professional poker players that he could really play poker well even though he is only considered a part-time player. The first time he joined the World Series of Poker, this professional poker player only placed eighth. But as the game progressed, his ranked moved higher and higher until he reached third place. He may not have won the grand prize, but Michael Binger is no doubt an aggressive professional poker player.

Michael Binger, although born in Florida, has moved to Atherton, California. He has a brother who is also a poker player. In fact, his brother also played in a World Series of Poker event in 2007.
